Keyboards have a range of PS/2 to USB converters which offers a simple way to upgrade legacy PS/2 keyboards and mice to USB.
The devices are ideal for
converting legacy keyboards to USB interface and allow EPOS keyboards which
send pre-programmed macros and data read from Magnetic Swipe Readers to
operate through a USB interface.

"Many of the PS/2 to USB converters available through catalogues do not
properly handle the high rates of keystrokes that are outputted from a PS/2 keyboard
with integrated MSR. Characters are lost in transmission leading to corruption
of the MSR data. Although our USB converter may look the same as some of
the catalogue products it contains our unique electronics and these work with our own range of EPOS keyboards
and the Cherry G81-7000 and G81-8000 families."
