General Description

The KMV4M allows a single keyboard, mouse and monitor to control four host systems, even if the systems are not the same type. It is possible, for instance, to mix Sun Ultra with a PS/2 or Alpha system, providing the multi-sync monitor used can accommodate both video requirements.

The KMV4M has on board multiple keyboard system interfaces and keyboard mapping is provided between the different keyboard types, enabling the user to choose the preferred type of keyboard. Mouse protocols supported are Microsoft, PS/2, IntelliMouse and Sun.

Second Monitor / Second User Option

Video Switching: 2nd video output to provide a 4 to 2 channel video Switch Matrix. Allows the user to monitor two screens.

Second User: Add 2nd keyboard, mouse and monitor to allow 2 users to share 4 connected computers.
